We always love a festival! We kinda suit the 'last band on', we often get that slot as we're pretty upbeat for a bunch of oldies & we always try to bring it home with a bang! We are rehearsing on Thursday night, getting ready for Sat 2 July 7.45pm at Mooloolaba Foreshore Festival, it's also Mick's birthday, so we'll be out to celebrate straight after! On the 30th July we are in good company in Childers Festival with Kate Cebrano & many more amazing artists, that'll be boozy weekend for us too!
What else have we got to tell you?..... Angus has written a really cool new riff for an original Rude Boys song that we will be working on.... watch this space! (I really need to write some lyrics! got any good ideas??!)
Other random news....
Sam (trumpet) got to play with the wonderful 'Tijuana Cartel' and also 'The Porkers' as part of their recent tours, Phil (Tenor Sax) was spotted in Sydney with his other 2 bands 'The Allniters' & all over the place with 'The Porkers' also! Well done fellas!!
