SOLBAR! Stage Invasion!

So this weekend we played SOLBAR in Maroochydore - a home game for us, being a Sunny Coast band. We had our friends GERALD open up for us and they didn't disappoint! They are a Brisbane Ska band with a fun 3rd wave twist & this was their first gig in 20 years.....as the FunAddicts once said... 'What's the rush?' The Sunny Coast Crew turned up in droves for a big night of Rude Boys craziness! over 350 of you actually! Thank you so much for the support! We loves ya!

It was Phil's birthday (our wonderful Tenor Sax maestro) who plays those slammin solos you & I love so much! So with a few beers sunk, birthday cake eaten & soundcheck done & dusted, we bounded on stage & kicked off with the massive energy we are known for! Between playing our own songs, some 2Tone classics and some cheeky Ska versions of Midnight Oil & Paul Kelly, the place was rocking! So here is a video of a bit of the messiness at the end...

A great night had by all!

So , if you are a real deal fan & you've read this far.... We'll let you know first, that we have a signed CD (8 songs) coming out next week! If you'd like to support the band & buy it ($20) please email Name & Address to sunnycoastrudeboys@gmail.com & we'll sort it from there. Thanks!
